Among national courts, special procedures of the United Nations Human Rights Council, the International Criminal Court, specialized human rights courts such as the European Court of Human Rights, the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights, and even national contact points for the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, there are many avenues available to pursue international crimes, violation of human rights, or violation of international humanitarian law. This session will provide creative and concrete examples of how to combine and use these mulitiple legal approaches.
