ANIMALS IN SCIENCE

  • 20/07/2024 - 9:15 - 10:00

Présentation

When science and animals become entangled, so do law and ethics. From China’s creation of a chimera to the use of pig organs for human transplants, this session will likely present more questions than answers. The panelists will discuss animals used in scientific research, animal patents, the economics of animals in pharmaceuticals, and the myriad law and policy issues. The panelists will consider today’s advances and what the future may hold.
