This theme addresses the digital revolution and its challenges for the practice of law. The use of cloud-based tools, big data, artificial intelligence (AI) and voice recognition technology is expected to improve access to justice and allow for new ways of providing legal services. However, it will also significantly affect the way our profession is structured. Seeing as these challenges will have a major impact on the direction of our profession over the next decade, now is the time for UIA members to discuss them in detail.
