The Impact of Covid-19 on Shipping-Related Contracts, Transport Risks and Insurance Policies
The Insurance Law and the Transport Law Commissions have decided in a joint session to address the impact of Covid-19 (and broadly environmental issues) on shipping-related contracts, transport risks and insurance policies. From the liability of cruise lines and of air carriers to the doctrine of force majeure under maritime law in view of the pandemic, practitioners from different jurisdictions will discuss the most relevant legal topics which have affected international and domestic transportation by land, sea and air during the past year, with the aim of triggering a very lively exchange of ideas among all participants.
