The aim of the session is to discuss about the role of the legal departments in M&A transactions before, during and after the deal is signed and closed, their interactions with the management, the other support functions of their companies and the law firm that assist them.
We will exchange on what happens behind the curtains of every M&A transactions, such as what are the company’s internal policies, challenges and opportunities in M&A transactions, how the inhouse counsels select the law firms assisting them, their reciprocal interactions and expectations, the way the due diligence, the negotiation, the signing and closing of the transactions as well as the integration process of the acquired business are conducted by the inhouse counsels and their companies.
