The National Bar Association of Benin will host on Friday 22and Saturday 23, 2013 a UIA (Union Internationale des Avocats - International Association of Lawyers) seminar in order to discuss economic integration in Africa as it relates to the legal profession. The seminar will be held over three half days dedicated respectively to three distinct but related topics i.e. African economic unions, the impacts of economic integration on the legal profession, the floor to the businesses and organizations of an African community space on their perception of the lawyer’s contribution to the fulfillment of their mission.
A proper understanding of economic integration should contribute to put in the limelight our law firms and the legal profession across the continent, thus promoting individual prosperity. This seminar should lead us to this awareness and the subsequent actions to be taken.
In order to enable the participants to combine business with leisure, the organizing committee has selected for you a beautiful hotel located on the edge of the sea along a beautiful sandy beach. You may also, after the seminar, visit the lake village of Ganvie nicknamed the Venice of Africa and the Slave Route in the historic town of Ouidah.
