The Enforcement of Arbitral Awards and International Public Policy in the OHADA Zone
International public policy is one of the insurmountable barriers to the enforcement of arbitral awards. Where does the current case law of the CCJA stand regarding what constitutes an infringement of this public policy and what does not? This topic will enable us to review the recent decisions handed down by the CCJA on this matter (in particular in 2020) and to assess whether or not the current system does enough to facilitate arbitration in the OHADA zone.
