The Impacts of Agricultural and Food Waste: A Multi-Perspective Discussion

The impact of agricultural and food waste on the world is more relevant than ever. Moreover, some countries – such as the host of this year’s Congress (Senegal) – bear the burden more than others, as many countries ship their agri-food waste to Senegal. Agri-food waste involves many different areas of the law, including agri-food law, environmental law and international contract law.
This session will explore the various legal aspects of agri-food waste, discuss the various problems created by them and suggest possible solutions, at local, regional and global levels.
