In this session, the Corporate Law and M&A and the Tax Law Commissions will analyse trending corporate law and tax topics in M&A transactions in light of the new economic and geopolitical situation in the world. How will the new environment affect the way in which M&A transactions are implemented, especially in the mining, natural resources, and energy sectors? Which new restrictions (from a legal, financial, or capital movement standpoint) need to be taken into account when advising on M&A transactions in the mining and natural resources industry? What specific factors must be addressed for M&A transactions in Africa?
