L'actualité du Brexit

Ce panel s’inscrira dans le prolongement des séances très réussies consacrées au Brexit lors des précédents congrès de Budapest et de Toronto, afin d’informer l’auditoire de la situation actuelle et de l’issue envisageable des négociations sur le Brexit. Les positions du Royaume-Uni et de l’UE27 feront l’objet de discussions, de même que le point de vue du Royaume-Uni sur son futur positionnement dans le monde.

Le panel se penchera également sur les répercussions du Brexit dans plusieurs domaines du droit tels que les droits des citoyens et des salariés britanniques dans l’UE27 et inversement, les retombées en matière de fiscalité, de concurrence et de propriété intellectuelle, le climat dans le domaine des fusions et acquisitions, les services, etc.

    29 March 2019 – Exit date, irrespective
    So called hard Brexit if no withdrawal agreement
    31 December 2020 – Transition deal end date
    UK remains status quo ante and all EU rules including new ones apply
    Transition deal principle agreed but application remains open as “Nothing is agreed until everything is agreed”
