Immigration rules and procedures in the European Union are at the same time so important and so challenging. National and European courts face more cases on key aspects of immigration. Beyond politics and media, the practice of immigration rules shows the complexity of each case and the need for practitioners and other interested parties to exchange and learn from each other’s experience. This seminar focuses on practical discussions and provides a useful base to address current issues and trends faced by lawyers defending immigrants and their families, economic operators and authorities.
The 2016 Sofia seminar follows a very successful and well attended 2015 edition and brings together practitioners of many jurisdictions, members of the European Courts along with academics and Union officials.
