Artificial intelligence in liability restructuring. Express insolvency proceedings due to lack of assets. Bureaucracy and corruption in bankruptcy vs. accessibility and judicial certainty. Bureaucracy and corruption vs accessibility and certainty.
Three highly current topics requiring urgent discussion will be addressed. Secondly, the accessibility of immediate and dynamic bankruptcy, insolvency and liquidation proceedings in matters in which the trader lacks assets to meet their debts and obligations.
And thirdly, the analysis of current experiences in different jurisdictions with respect to the appropriateness of setting up bodies specialised in bankruptcy and insolvency matters or in avoiding such proceedings and seeking less judicial intervention as this increases corruption and involves excessive bureaucracy, harming creditors and the economy.
