The UIA calls for death penalty abolition

On the occasion of the 11th World Day Against the Death Penalty, focusing on the Greater Caribbean, the UIA reminds lawyers of their central importance in the struggle for abolition of the death penalty, and encourage s its members to promote abolition of the death penalty to their governments and to international organisations.
