ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT LAW

Join the commission

The UIA Commission on Environment and Sustainable Development aims to analyze the numerous legal issues raised by environmental protection, emphasizing those aspects that are more related to developing countries, while still paying attention to problems that are also of interest in developed economies.

Thus, the Commission's activities cover issues from desertification, water, proper waste management and contaminated soil, to the safe use of chemicals, without forgetting issues as vital as those relating to climate change and biodiversity protection.

With this aim, the Commission calls on lawyers from all parts of the world, from Asia to America, and from Africa to Europe, to work together to give a more diversified vision of environmental protection in different jurisdictions, as well as in relevant international agencies.

The Commission encourages all lawyers who wish to increase their knowledge of environmental law to become active members.

The Commission is open to suggestions from all its members, and debate participation and contributions are always welcome.
