The Portuguese National Committee of the UIA is chaired by José Luís Moreira da Silva and is currently composed of 60 individual and collective members. These members are all highly involved in the dissemination of the objectives of the UIA, in particular the defense of justice and human rights, always in close collaboration with other countries whose official language is Portuguese.
With the collaboration of the Portuguese National Committee, seminars and training sessions are frequently organized in Portugal, as our country offers a great diversity of spaces with good infrastructure and is known for its hospitality.
This year, our goal is to support the Portuguese Presidency of the UIA and to organize a great UIA Congress in Porto so that your experience in Portugal can be memorable!
The themes of the Congress (“Legal Practice in the Digital Era” and “Legal Challenges of Modern Day Slavery”) are topical, of great importance and will certainly provide UIA members with varied and constructive discussions.
