#UIAWFMC

The World Forum of Mediation Centres was created in 2001 by the Mediation and Conflict Prevention Commission of the UIA.  It brings together the best  commercial mediation practitioners and ADR centres from around the world, together with  managers,  academics, teachers, trainers, young practitioners, and all those interested in learning more about mediation.

The Forum takes place every 9 months in different countries around the world. It fosters the exchange of views on the development of ADR, enhancing knowledge and best practices, giving new ideas, ensuring the best understanding of ADR, and learning from other cultures.

The meeting in Singapore will be the 24th since the creation of the Forum.

This Forum will again be exceptional. SINGAPORE is the place to go for learning about mediation. Besides, the city of SINGAPORE is fantastic.  The various sessions of the Forum will be stimulating and attractive, bringing together a new generation of young mediators and discussing marketing of mediation/mediators, mediation principles and negotiating contract practice, confidentiality issues, European and Asian views, etc.

The various sessions of the Forum will be stimulating and attractive, bringing together experienced mediators looking forward to sharing their views with other practitioners who are willing to ameliorate and discussing development of mediation and their practice. It will also be again the opportunity for academics and teachers from various countries to share views about ADR and to meet and discuss with managers, practitioners and users of mediation.

The UIA Forum offers the international solid base to trigger regular and constructive group discussions, lively debates on various topics, and ideas of development.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn and enhance your practice with your mediator colleagues.

The Singapore Forum will be an unforgettable international event.  Practitioners from the USA, Australia, China, Africa and Europe have already confirmed their participation.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Singapore !

Forum organised by the UIA with the support of the Singapore International Dispute Resolution Academy (SIDRA), the Singapore International Mediation Centre (SIMC), the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI) and the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC)
