Corporate Governance, Company Regulation and Related Litigation

This year, the UIA is hosting its 7th Winter Seminar at Whistler, British Columbia from February 26 to March 2, 2012.

The seminar is focused on Corporate Governance, Company Regulation and Related Litigation, and of course on everything else a winter resort like Whistler has to offer. The winter seminars provide exceptional networking opportunities ideal for expanding and maintaining international contacts.

The Whistler Seminar is being co-hosted and co-sponsored by the Torts Trial and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association. The UIA is proud that the Section of Litigation and the Section of International Law of the American Bar Association are again co-sponsoring this seminar.

The programmes on offer will provide the audience with the latest developments in corporate governance, company regulation and litigation surrounding these issues, both from a European and a North American perspective. In addition, there will be programmes on offer respecting ethical matters facing corporate management, best practices for managing lawyers’ risks and practical guidance on the valuable subject of client development.
