Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update (April 2, 2020)

To our members and participants:

As you known, the current worldwide health situation and uncertainty regarding the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is having an impact on many organizations and their activities. We at UIA are constantly monitoring these issues with the best interests of our members and participants uppermost in mind. Among other things, we have been reassessing our seminar activity for the coming months.   In light of these considerations, national and international guidance, and the priority we place on the safety and health of our members, participants and staff, we have made the very difficult decision to postpone the seminars listed below. All registered participants and speakers are being contacted directly regarding the postponed events.

We plan to find new dates for the postponed seminars in the coming months once we have a better sense of the likely duration of the virus issue. All registered participants will have the choice of full reimbursement of registration fees or application of registration fees paid to the rescheduled seminars. 

We know this will be disappointing and may cause inconvenience or hardship for some. We regret we have had to take these steps but we believe it to be the best course of action under these difficult and unforeseen circumstances.  We thank you for your understanding and hope you will join us at the rescheduled events. 

This is an evolving situation, and UIA is carefully reviewing the advice provided by the World Health Organization and by governmental authorities of the seminar destination countries. If circumstances change, we will adjust our response accordingly. Please check this page regularly for further information.
